Motivational meeting with CSOs in Nova Gradiska

On 30 June 2015 a motivational meeting was held with the representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Nova Gradiska in the premises of the Association for the Prevention of Sociopathological Behaviour of the Young "Prevention". Besides organizers Natasa Kovacevic and Marina Baric-Gacic, who are representatives of the Information Legal Centre (ILC) and the project team of "Civil Society for Accountable Governance" in Brod-Posavina County, the motivational meeting was attended by Momir Divjak and Simonida Tarbuk, representatives of the Citizens' Initiative “NG-rebels”; Alexander Grubac, Peter Herljevic and Gordana Simic, representatives of the Association "Prevention" and Milorad Jovanov, a representative of the Association of the Blind Nova Gradiska.
Project coordinator Natasa Kovacevic, ILC executive director, briefly presented to the participants the project itself, its activities, objectives and expected results. Particular emphasis was placed on the forthcoming activities and the creation of a local platform in Nova Gradiska with the representatives of the public institutions and local authorities.
Project Coordinator presented the monitoring forms which will be used by CSOs while reporting about discrimination of their target groups and also while reporting about good governance principle in their local communities. All participants expressed their willingness and motivation for cooperation through monitoring and reporting of cases of discrimination.
