On 24 June 2015, Natasa Kovacevic and Marina Baric-Gacic, representatives of Information Legal Centre (ILC) and the project team of the "Civil Society for Accountable Governance" for Brod-Posavina County held a motivational meeting with the representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs) from Slavonski Brod. The motivational meeting was attended by following CSO’s representatives: Sanja Zutinic, representative of the Association for the Creative Development of Children and Youth “Vivak’; Cedo Todorovic, a representative of the Roma Centre for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights; Ana Vidak, representative of the Association for the Improvement of Mental Health "Vrapcici" and Gordana Miskovic and Vanja Krnic, representatives of the Association of Persons with Disabilities Slavonski Brod "Loco-Moto".
At the motivational meeting above mentioned CSO’s representatives exchanged positive experiences and latest knowledge and skills acquired during the training held with the EU experts in Zagreb. Furthermore, they exchanged experiences about discrimination they had encountered during their work related to the target groups that creates an additional motivation for participation in the project activities.
Project Coordinator briefly presented the project, its activities, objectives and expected results. She also announced the upcoming motivational meetings with the CSOs with indicative terms in which the participants expressed their willingness to participate.
Furthermore, the coordinator announced the formation of a local platform in Slavonski Brod with the representatives of public institutions and local authorities in which intersectoral partnership will be enhanced in order to fight discrimination and promote good governance principle in our local community.
