On 15th of April 2016, ILC held a motivational meeting with representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Slavonski Brod.
Besides Information Legal Centre's representative Nataša Kovačević, Project Coordinator for Brod – posavina County and Marina Barić - Gačić, Project Assistant, motivational meeting was attended by Čedo Todorović, representative of the Roma Centre for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and Sanja Žutinić, representative of the Association for creative development of children and youth “Vivak“.
The participants presented progress achieved in implementing the monitoring of their target groups and the dynamics of collecting the questionnaires so far. Furthermore, the cooperation between the two organizations was agreed in a way that Roma Centre for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights will help the Association Vivak in collecting questionnaires in elementary school "Hugo Badalic", attended by a considerable number of Roma national minority children, and help their parents who have difficulties in reading and writing to clarify certain questions within the questionnaires.
Also, the participants were informed about a three-day follow-up training in Osijek, one of the activities within the two-year project „Civil Society for Accountable Governance", funded by the European Union under the IPA 2011 programme “Reinforcing Support of CSOs in Enhancing Transparency and Good Governance in Croatian Public Administration.”
At the end of the meeting the representatives of the two associations have confirmed their participation in the Follow-up training from 27 to 29 April 2016 in Osijek.
