The 5th meeting of national partners within the IPA 2012 project "Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia" was held on 24 March 2017.
The meeting was held in the premises of ILC in Slavonski Brod. It was attended by the following project partners: ILC (Project Manager Natasa Kovacevic, Project Coordinator Sanja Beslic-Kozmus), HILS (Project Coordinator Ina Lang) and Network of Roma associations in Croatia (Project Coordinator Nikola Destanovic). Project partner from Brod-Posavina County excused herself from the meeting due to her business obligations.
During the meeting, the partners discussed the activities realised during the first year of project implementation and comments regarding narrative and financial Interim report.
They also discussed the implementation of follow-up activities - adoption of the Action Plan for Roma, analysis of the Constitutional Law on the Rights of National Minorities (CARNM) and organisation of a round table as the final event of the project.
The project "Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia" is financed by European Union assistance from the IPA 2012 "Strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations to ensure the effective implementation of EU standards in the realization of human rights" and co-financed by the Office for Cooperation with NGOs.
