The second meeting of the Working Group was held in the premises of the Great Hall of Brod – Posavina County on 6 December 2016. The meeting was attended by representatives of local and regional governments, institutions, CSOs and the Council of the Roma national minority from the City and the County.
Professor Zima, moderator of the meeting, presented the draft of the Action Plan for Roma Inclusion that was made on the basis of submitted data by the of the Working Group. The draft of the Action Plan includes 10 goals and 8 thematic areas that were explained in detail during the presentation. Members of the Working Group actively participated in the discussion related to the amendments to the Action Plan and it was agreed that all members will receive the draft for additional suggestions and amendments. The necessity of urgent meeting with representatives of the City of Slavonski Brod participating in the development of the local action plan for Roma was emphasized in order to avoid the repetition of activities and participants in the implementation in the city and county action plan for Roma.
The second meeting of the Working Group for drafting the Action Plan for Roma Inclusion was organized by ILC in collaboration with project partners - HILS from Osijek, Brod – Posavina County and the Network of Roma CSOs in Croatia through the project " Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia ", financed by the European Union program IPA 2012 "Strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations to ensure the effective implementation of EU standards in the realization of human rights" and co – financed by the Office for Cooperation with NGOs.
