Center for Peace, Non-violence and Human Rights from Osijek in partnership with Information Legal Center (ILC) from Slavonski Brod, Serbian Democratic Forum (SDF), PAX from Utrecht (Netherlands) and the Hague Academy for Local Governance (Netherlands), organised 5-day educational training named "Monitoring of the Policies Related to Good Governance and Anti-discrimination.
Representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs), local self-government and public institutions from Osijek, Beli Manastir, Slavonski Brod, Nova Gradiška, Lipik and Pakrac participated at interactive training that was held in the Hotel Panorama from the 25th to the 29th May 2015, and was conducted by experts of our Netherlands partners PAX and The Hague Academy for Local Governance.
Topics elaborated at the training were as follows:
Local expert platforms of CSOs, local self-government and public institutions were established at the end of the training with the aim of strengthening implementation of good governance and anti-discrimination principles at the local level.
Training "Monitoring of the Policies Related to Good Governance and Anti-discrimination" is an integral part of the two-year project “Civil Society for Accountable Governance” that is financed from the programme Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2011 „Strengthening Support to Civil Society Organizations for Increasing Transparency and Good Governance Public Administration in Croatia“.
