On 14 March 2014 UNHCR organized a workshop “Asylum and migration: Republic Croatia after its accession to the European Union” for its implementing partners and representatives of Croatian ministries and governmental offices.

All participants held presentations of results of their work on the same subject: "Progress in 2013 and the new aspects of the asylum system and the integration process after accession to the EU."
During the first part of the workshop, presentations on this subject were held by representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Policy and Youth and Government Office for Human Rights and National Minorities, while during the second part of the workshop presentations were held by UNHCR's implementing partners: Croatian Red Cross, Croatian Law Centre, Centre for Peace Studies, Jesuit service for refugees and Information Legal Centre.

The entire IPC’s team on the project “Free legal assistance to Roma in civil registration in Croatia” attended the workshop.

Presentation on behalf of the IPC was held by executive director, who presented project activities and results achieved during the previous year, with a special focus on Roma project and results that have been achieved during implementation of this unique project in Croatia.

This workshop was organized based on a workshop held in December 2012. UNHCR's intention is to organize it annually, in order to enable all their IPs to present results of their work.
