The topic of the workshop was "Communication with Media" and was attended by 10 of the most active Roma organisations.

During the workshop, participants were informed of the role of media in everyday life and the particular impact of the local media in informing the public about their work, methods of communication, writing news and press releases, communication in crisis situations and the importance of maintaining good relations with the media. Through group work, participants practiced writing press releases as well as making statements to the media. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the workshop, as their acquired knowledge will help them in further work and development of their CSOs.

The workshop for Roma CSOs from the City of Slavonski Brod was organized by ILC in collaboration with project partners  - HILS from Osijek, Brod – Posavina County and the Network of Roma associations in Croatia through the "Legal inclusion and sustainable integration of Roma in Croatia" project, which is financed by the European Union from IPA 2012 and co-financed by the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs.
