Volonterski Centar Osijek is implementing this program with three associate organizations and with financial support from the National Foundation for Civil Society Development in the framework of the regional development of civil society and local communities in Croatia. A presentation of “Salter” program was held by Program Manager Nikoleta Poljak from Volonterski centar Osijek - Regional Support Center, with the help of Nataša Kovačević, IPC Executive Director, associate organization from Slavonski Brod – Posavina County. Within the workshop, a survey focused on assessing the needs of civil society at the county level was held and attended by all participants where they expressed their views in order to help to improve this program. “Salter” program presentation emphasized not only the opportunity for a quality support to NGOs and other stakeholders involved in development of civil society, but also other numerous possibilities for improvement of their activities and actions. A workshop was attended by thirty persons, representatives of civil organizations: Muscular Dystrophy Association, the disabled and children's cerebral palsy, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Environmental group "Earth“, Center for inclusive support, creative Association „Bogatstvo u nama“, Association Lima, Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Association Virtus, Youth club Roma, Association Vrapčići, Association Roma „Ludari“, Living and home care for the elderly Association, Association Academico, Theatre „Bolji život“, Association for Therapeutic Riding „Potkovica“, Association of the Blind, Network of Roma associations, citizen groups, representatives of city Slavonski Brod and Slavonski Brod - Posavina County. The participants had a number of questions related to the program for lecturers. After the workshop, Nikoleta Poljak held info-day for associations that have finalised different projects and needed some last-minute clarifications regarding the project guidelines.
